For electroplating lines requiring deep tanks (>800mm), standard titanium baskets often suffer from bulging and deformation due to the immense hydrostatic pressure and weight of the anode material (e.g., Nickel pellets). This deformation can cause fatal short circuits with the cathode panel.

Our 100cm Reinforced Titanium Anode Basket is engineered specifically to solve this problem. Manufactured from ASTM B265 Grade 2 Industrial Pure Titanium, it features a Dual Vertical Reinforcement System—two solid titanium strips welded along the full length of the basket. 1. The Challenge: Why do long baskets fail?

In baskets exceeding 80cm in height, the accumulated weight of the anode balls at the bottom creates significant outward pressure. Standard baskets without reinforcement will bulge outward (like a pregnant belly). This causes:
